DEAF POETS Are Hunted in Cinematic “Celestine” Video

Hell-bent on bringing the raw grit back to Rock & Roll, Deaf Poets signature lo-fi sound resonates far beyond their home base of South Florida. Their effortlessly vintage cool tunes have built the band a solid foundation and impressive momentum as their accolades continue piling up – with one of their songs selected for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 and being dubbed “Best Band In Miami.” The pair is currently preparing for the release of their full-length album, Lost In Magic City, which will drop May 2017. Fans were given a treat with the new track from the project – a gritty garage rock gem entitled “Celestine” that has a melancholic vibe, propelled by dirge-y drums and fuzzy guitar riffs. Black Book raved, “their sexy, psychedelic garage rock combines the epic howl of Led Zep with the fierce anxiety of Smashing Pumpkins, all perfectly realized on this wicked new single.”

Today, Deaf Poets have teamed up with Revolver to unveil their cinematic music video for the song created by filmmaking duo Dogs of Passion. Dark, sinister, and full of suspense, the video shows the character Celestine, played by Rachel Miller, seeking retribution on the gents with her deadly bow and arrow. She’s on the hunt, stalking and chasing them through the streets of Miami.
