MisterWives announce new album ‘Connect The Dots’ – out May 19th via Virgin/EMI

Highly acclaimed New York indie-pop collective MisterWives have today announced their new album Connect The Dots, due for release on May 19th through Virgin/EMI. The first taste of the new album is lead single ‘Machine’, a huge anti-establishment anthem of exuberant alt-pop, boasting horns, assertive synths and soaring choruses.  LISTEN HERE

Regarding ‘Machine’ the band say, “‘Machine’ is a rallying cry to stand against a world that suppresses individuality and diversity. This song embodies the movement of celebrating our differences, staying true to ourselves, and always sticking it to the Sith Empire! (insert middle finger emoji)”

MisterWives emerged in 2015 as a vibrant and vivacious new voice in pop music with their debut album Our Own House.  They were instantly named as an ‘Artist To Watch’ by MTV and topped both the Billboard ‘Emerging Artists Chart’ and Spotify’s ‘Discovery Artist’ chart. So it’s no surprise their breakout out smash hit single ‘Reflections’ became a Gold record in the USA and amassed over 70 MILLION plays on Spotify

Along the way they’ve achieved unanimous praise from the likes of Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Wonderland, Pigeons & Planes, The 405, FAULT Magazine, Line Of Best Fit, The Debrief, Notion and many more. They have also become a huge live draw in the US and won UK fans over with a number of sold-out performances.

MisterWives have now returned with the first taste of their new album, more determined and formidable than ever before. ‘Machine’ launched with strong support on Spotify, featuring in the ‘New Music Friday’ playlists across 12 countries, currently standing at No.11 in the US Viral Chart, No.32 globally and has clocked up over 1.1 MILLION plays, along with instant critical praise.

MisterWives will be debuting new music from the album live for the first time as they head out on an extensive 34-date North American tour in support of Panic! At The Disco, which kicks off today.
