Yumi Zouma Release Oasis Cover “She’s Electric” for Turntable Kitchen’s Sounds Delicious

New Zealand electropop outfit Yumi Zouma released their cover of Oasis’ “She’s Electric” today. The track is the first taste of Yumi Zouma’s full album cover of the seminal (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, which will be available on April 6 exclusively through Turntable Kitchen’s SOUNDS DELICIOUS vinyl subscription series.

Yumi Zouma’s (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? is the first release in the SOUNDS DELICIOUS series. It is a vinyl-only release limited to 1000 copies worldwide. Pre-orders for SOUNDS DELICIOUS are $25 a month (plus shipping) and are available now at turntablekitchen.com/sounds-delicious.

SOUNDS DELICIOUS is a first-of-its-kind monthly vinyl subscription service. SOUNDS DELICIOUS will offer full-length cover albums – exclusively featuring music not available anywhere else – on limited edition vinyl.

Participating artists were asked to choose any full-length album they love and reimagine it from front to back. SOUNDS DELICIOUS will produce the recordings on limited edition vinyl packaged in beautifully designed jackets and exclusively release them to members of its subscription service every month.

Also coming in 2017 from SOUNDS DELICIOUS:

  • Ben Gibbard covering Teenage Fanclub’s Bandwagonesque

  • The Pains of Being Pure at Heart with Kristin Kontrol & members of Titus Andronicus covering Tom Petty’s Full Moon Fever
