PREMIERE: Scarlet Releases New Music Video For “Infinitely”

As we wrap up another premiere week, we got a few amazing artists teaming up with VENTS for an exclusive look at their newest materials. Starting off, we go back to the UK where we find Scarlet who’s back with another powerful song not only vocally, but with a message that goes beyond her typical lyrics about love and relationship as she dives into the mental health struggles of someone close to her that many will relate to. She draws from both the inside and outside world to produce something layered, complex, emotional and human. The video follows this theme in both a conceptual and direct way as different actors play a different roles, both hopeful and depressing.

Singing from an early age, Scarlet wrote her first song at the age of 14. Classically trained singer and pianist, she taught herself guitar. Scarlet attended the prestigious BRIT School where she was a member of an alternative rock band shortlisted for Sony ATV’s ‘Best Songwriting’ Award.

Once leaving school, Scarlet honed her craft, gigging all over London. In 2015, with the help of professional songwriter, producer and musician, Jessica Sharman (Sigala, Dakota), she collated her first collection of songs to much acclaim, leading her to a publishing deal. Scarlet’s ability was spotted by Resolution, a company working with new talent, where she collaborated with on the track, ‘Sherlock’, released on Resolution’s album, “Round One” in February of this year. Influenced by such talent as Florence Welch, Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons and Oh Wonder, Scarlet unleashed her debut single, “X”, on April 15th, gaining her industry attention. She has recently finished recording her Infinity EP out on March 24th. Watch out for special gig announcements.
