Buffalo emo-rock band The Traditional will release a new EP called The Queen of Heaven on March 17th via Anchor Eighty Four Records. Today, they’ve partnered with NewNoiseMagazine.com to premiere the record’s first new track, “She Don’t Know.” The EP is available now for pre-order at www.thequeenofheaven.info.
Speaking with NewNoiseMagazine.com, bassist/vocalist Anthony Musior says “”She Don’t Know” is a whirlwind of emotion. It’s about knowing that together you are toxic but apart you’re worse off. It’s about wanting to reach out and let someone know that everything you do is for that someone but the time has passed even if you can’t let go.”
The song’s raw emotion is a feeling felt deeply throughout the band’s new EP, The Queen of Heaven. The band’s 2nd release on Anchor Eighty Four Records features 6 enthralling songs that grab hold of listeners with each verse.
The Traditional, made up of Musior, Jon Coric (drums, backing vocals) and Mike Bienias (guitar), formed in Buffalo, NY in 2012 and have since become one of the local scene’s fastest rising bands. The Queen of Heaven, their follow up to 2014’s How To Live Without Blood, was produced, engineered and mixed by Jay Zubricky (Pentimento, Every Time I Die, I Can See Mountains) and mastered by Jesse Cannon (Acceptance, Basement, Saves The Day, Somos).
