Sälen reveal new single “Heartbreak Diet”

Today sees the release of the newest single, “Heartbreak Diet,” from the London-based trio Sälen.  Brutally honest, their latest electro-pop offering explores the emotional rollercoaster in the aftermath of a relationship breakdown.

The band most recently shared the video for “Copper Kiss” and Stereogum noted “(Sälen) already display a knack for earworm pop craft with a cutting, angsty undercurrent. ‘Copper Kiss,’ for instance, is irresistibly catchy (and) Ellie Kamio’s lovelorn barbs piece with a sharp subtlety.”

Sälen (Ellie Kamio, Paul Taylor and Simon Milner) came together last year, introducing themselves with the straight-talking “IILWMBF” (I’m In Love With My Best Friend), “Diseasey,” which topped Spotify UK’s Viral 50 charts early 2016 and reached #8 globally, and acclaimed “The Drwg.”
