With nods from top-tier publications including The FADER, Pigeons & Planes, NME, The Sunday Times, Stereogum, PASTE Magazine, V Magazine and many more, plus live appearances confirmed across the U.S and Europe this spring and summer, Ms. Savior is certain to be on everyone’s radar for 2017.
The 21-year-old will be taking her live band on the road making stops at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, BonnarooFestival (tickets) and Boston Calling (tickets), PrimaveraSound plus headlining shows in London, Paris and Berlin this April (for a full list of tour dates, see below).
Alexandra’s unique sound and style first caught the attention of several creative forces including T. Bone Burnett who placed her song, “Risk,” in the most recent season of HBO’s cult series, “True Detective.” In addition to this Alexandra also co-wrote the most recent Last Shadow Puppets’ single, “Miracle Aligner” along with the erstwhile Arctic Monkey, Alex Turner.
An artist in every sense of the word, not only does Ms. Savior write music and perform live, she also paints her own artwork and writes, directs and edits her own music videos. “Belladonna of Sadness” was written Alexandra and co-produced by British rock front-man Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets) and James Ford (Haim/Florence and the Machine).
