SINGLE REVIEW: W4YL by Michael Minelli

After staying relatively quiet since his last official release, “Lost in Love,” Michael Minelli is back with the brand new single, “W4YL.” An acronym for “Wait For Your Love,” the emotive song fuses feel-good soul with the more edgy, modern sounds of today.

The arrangement gives him an amazing platform. “W4YL” begins as it ends – a catchy acoustic guitar riff that successfully complements Minelli’s rich vocals. The lyrical content contains conversational eloquence without ever falling into insignificance – Minelli’s lyrics will resonate with a many listeners without ever seeming too personal, even if the narrative of this track were to be inspired from his experiences.

There’s no doubting his sincerity and the ambition of the song, subtle but present, aims to wear his heart on his sleeves for listeners. His music and creativity truly do come from the soul. Undoubtedly a strong and unique talent, Michael is sure to make an impact on today’s popular music landscape.
