Premiering on Pigeons & Planes, Grace Mitchell said on the video:
“it’s a commemoration on of 1970s punk rock, and a visual homage to its influence in the contemporary age of art, fashion, and music based on the socio-political climate of that era and its parallel to the modern age.”
This year will also see more performances as Grace was recently announced as a confirmed performer at Coachella with more tour dates to be announced soon.
In 2015, Grace’s critically acclaimed Raceday EP yielded the viral song “NOLO.” The track would go on to reach nearly 5 million Spotify streams as she drew acclaim from Noisey, Glamour, Nylon and many more, while Zane Lowe debuted the EP single “Jitter” as a coveted “World Record.” On the road, she graced the stage at the international Apple Music Festival opening for The Weeknd, CMJ, SXSW, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Coachella in addition to touring with Mø, JoyWave and St. Lucia.
