George Ogilvie Releases New Single ‘Foreign Hands’

George Ogilvie, the Canterbury-born singer/songwriter started writing music at 18. His raw, honest songwriting tempered by uncluttered pop saw his last release, ‘October’ streak into the Top 10 on Hype Machine as well as bringing him tastemaker acclaim from the likes of MAHOGANY, CLASH Magazine and BBC Introducing amongst others.

His new release ‘Foreign Hands’ continues the identity George is furnishing for himself – clear, bright storytelling and naturally melodic instrumentation bringing accurate comparisons to a young Ben Howard. Produced by 2015 Mercury Prize-winning Jonathan Quarmby, George has been confirmed as support to Leo Stannard’s March 2017 tour – further cementing the growing reputation of one of the UK’s rising stars.
