Emily Bell announces new EP set to be released April 21; Release show April 29

Austin’s own rock ‘n’ roll songstress Emily Bell announces the upcoming release of her new EP “Kali” with her band, Emily Bell & The Talkbacks. Set to be released on Friday, April 21, the five-song EP speaks to all things that Emily represents: female empowerment, passion and raw honesty. “This EP is me being brutally honest and following my heart as a lyricist,” says Bell. Her fiery and transformative energy shines through on every track of “Kali.”

Emily and her band will be celebrating the release of the EP on Saturday, April 29 at 3TEN Austin City Limits Live, located at 310 W Willie Nelson Blvd. #1a, Austin, Texas 78701. The previously released song from the forthcoming EP, “Goddess of Destruction” can be streamed on SoundCloud here. In addition to the EP release, Emily Bell & The Talkbacks have announced their month-long residency at Tellers Austin, located at 607 Trinity St., Austin, Texas 78701. The residency starts Thursday, Feb. 2 with support from The Last Starship and Lowin. All shows are free and more information can be found here: www.tellersaustin.com. Emily will hit the stage at 10 p.m. each evening.
