NINE POUND SHADOW RELEASE DEBUT SELF-TITLED EP TODAY

We’re excited to introduce you to San Francisco’s own Nine Pound Shadow, whose self-titled EP is out TODAY on Danger Mouse‘s own 30th Century Records.  A video for the song “Bridges,” which was premiered by Haim on their Beats 1 show this summer and has received nearly a million streams on Spotify, is viewable HERE.  The EP also features current single “Tell Me Why,” a gorgeous slice of woozy folk-pop that encapsulates all the sonic elements that make Nine Pound Shadow so special.

Nine Pound Shadow will also be hitting the road this winter, opening for Electric Guest on select dates, listed below – tickets are on sale now.

Nine Pound Shadow is brothers Brendain and Christopher Langlois, whose sound is a brilliant mix of 60s psych haze, Kings Of Convenience, the clouds of harmonies on the song “A Horse With No Name” by America, and a splash of a few dazzling California sunsets for good measure.   Their debut single, “Melody,” caught the attention of Danger Mouse, who included the song on last year’s 30th Century Records, Volume 1 compilation, and signed the band to the label.  Their EP, which was produced by Asa Taccone, is a brilliant introduction to a band whose name you’ll be hearing a lot in 2017.
