WATCH JULIA JACKLIN COVER “SOMEBODY” BY THE STROKES

Julia Jacklin has shared a cover of The Strokes’ “Someday” performed in her own distinctive style.  Recorded in session for Australian radio station Triple J’s “Like A Version” series, watch it HERE.  “It was the first song I ever heard by The Strokes,” Jacklin says. “I was around 12 years old and at my next-door neighbor’s house. A song that came at the time when you’re starting to figure out what music you actually like, not just what you’re told to like. It was super nice to revisit it so many years later when I’m a musician myself.”

This spring, Jacklin will embark on her first  North American tour since the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Don’t Let The Kids Win, out now on Polyvinyl / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.  The tour includes two Canadian dates this April, in Vancouver and Toronto.
