The Radar Awards 2017 just opened, inviting entries from up & coming content creators worldwide. Initiated to celebrate the very best content made for music marketing campaigns, the Awards highlight exciting new talent and attention-grabbing new work. Shortlisted creators are all promised ‘a significant career boost’, through connection to industry leaders and extensive media promotion.
Launched last year at London’s YouTube Space, the Radar Awards hooked up winning creators for mentorship and more. ‘We were really proud to have such a successful first year; with so many world-class production companies mentoring creatives, with our winner Bob Gallagher getting signed straightaway to Good Egg and shortlisted filmmaker Rafe Jennings winning ‘Best newcomer’ at the prestigious UKMVAs.’ says Caroline Bottomley, director of Radar and the Radar Awards.
Earlybird entries are open from now until March 5th and are priced at £20 / $25 / Euro25 per entry. Work is welcomed from filmmakers, photographers, designers and stage designers – from anyone who’s made content for music marketing campaigns and who’s interested in the benefits of being shortlisted or of winning the awards.
Once again, winners will benefit from mentorships with world class agents, reps and production companies, plus all shortlisted creators can expect:
Written feedback on their work from at least 3 industry judges
Invitation to the awards event – an unparalleled opportunity to network with leading record label commissioners, heads of talent, reps and agents
An extensive PR campaign across specialist, industry-specific media titles
