MAGGIE ROGERS RELEASES NEW SONG “ON +OFF”

Maggie Rogers gives fans another preview of her debut EP, Now That The Light Is Fading, with the track “On + Off released via Capitol Records/ Universal Music Canada.  The exhilarating, exquisitely layered song, written by Rogers and co-produced by Rogers, Nick Das and Doug Schadt, premiered yesterday on BBC Radio 1 as the Hottest Record in the World. Now That The Light Is Fading will be released on February 17,  2017. The EP features four original songs written, produced and performed by the 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist, including the singles “Alaska” and “Dog Years” which have more than 27 million streams combined worldwide, across all platforms. Rogers will make her television debut on February 15 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon performing “Alaska”. The track charted in Spotify’s Viral 50 in 40 countries and hit #1 in 23 countries. With more than 23 million global streams to date, earning Rogers a place on the Spotify Best of 2016 list and set the stage for widespread international acclaim.

The official video for “Dog Years” can be seen HERE. Shot in Rogers’ childhood summer camp in Maine, it was directed by filmmaker Zia Anger, who also helmed the video for “Alaska,” which has more than 2.4 million views.

Rogers’ first-ever North American headline tour sold out more than two months in advance of its launch. She will perform to sold-out crowds in Toronto at The Mod Club on April 4 and Montreal at La Salla Rosa April 5.
