Allan Rayman Announces Album + Debuts “Repeat” Ft. Jessie Reyez via Zane Lowe’s Beats 1

Allan Rayman has announced the release of his second full-length album ‘Roadhouse 01’ on February 24th via Ben Lovett’s Communion Records and his own label/brand 512 Productions.

Today, he debuted “Repeat” ft. Jessie Reyez on Zane Lowe’s show on Beats 1, Apple Music’s global radio station.

‘Roadhouse 01’ chronicles Allan’s retreat to an isolated cabin in the woods of Lost Springs, where he wrestles with his demons in the form of a rebellious alter ego, Mr. Roadhouse. It covers a lot of narrative territory, from the fluttery, vulnerable, hip-hop infused “Repeat” to the closing tracks on the album, where the antagonistic Mr. Roadhouse fully takes over. The album fuses R&B, hip hop, and folk influences with dark, seductive storytelling.

Also, listen via Pigeons & Planes:

On Allan’s latest single “Faust Road,” his voice alternates between a languid, warm-honey tone and a gritty aggressive roar as if “he’s channeling Lucifer himself.”

Watch his short films “The Bird” and “The Cage,” where he captures his story of desire and loss in vivid detail.

The Bird:

The Cage (25.22):

The announcement follows on the heels of Allan’s recently wrapped North American tour with James Vincent McMorrow that led into sold-out headlining gigs at NYC’s Baby’ All Right and Toronto’s Royal Cinema. Additional tour dates to follow.
