The Guardia raved, “Triumphant set from champions of stadium rock,” while NME wrote, “The sky seems to explode with fireworks; just when you think it’s over, it keeps on going.”

Released by Warner Bros. Records/14th Floor Recordings in July, Ellipsis went straight to number one in the UK album chart and was also number one in Switzerland, Germany and Ireland.  It remained in the U.K. Top 40 for 11 weeks before claiming the top spot on the album chart, making it Biffy Clyro’s second No. 1 album after 2013’s Opposites.
