Amy Macdonald has today released her brand new single ‘Dream On’, taken from her forthcoming album ‘Under Stars’. The uplifting single showcases the power in Amy’s voice and was an early standout track throughout the writing process of the album.
Amy said of the single: “It’s obviously quite bleak as people try get over the Christmas hangover, so it’s brilliant to have such an upbeat song for January”.
The single is available digitally to stream and download from today. The brand new album ‘Under Stars’ is released on February 17th via Virgin/EMI. Fans who pre-order the album will be able to download the new single immediately alongside an acoustic version of ‘Down by the Water’. Pre-order here – http://www.amymacdonald.co.uk/
Amy said “I feel so proud of the songs and am so pleased with the record. There are so many incredible moments and I really feel this record features some of my best work. I’m excited to finally share it with my fans and I believe there is so much that will also appeal to new fans”.
The new single, ‘Dream On’ was produced by Mike Rowe and Andy Brittain, with production on the album by fellow Scot Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Florence and the Machine) and production duo My Riot (London Grammar, Birdy).
