How have you been?, Can you talk to us more about your latest single “When Will I See YOU aGAIN?”?

I’ve been busy but good! When Will I See You Again, was an ever evolving project.   The entire collaboration actually began with my previous single “Stay Here Forever”. I originally wanted Neon to sing the 2nd half of that song, but we had decided to start an entire new song together, and thus, WWiSYA was born.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

That will remain a mystery for me to know, you to never find out 😉

How was the film experience?

The film experience was really I actually direct and edit all of my music videos, so it’s always a very full experience, to say the least. We shot it at a vintage underground club in Los Angeles. It’s a really small club/lounge, but with great lightening we really made it look like a movie set. The idea of the video, was the Neon Hitch and I were the club heads, and we robbed all of the customers by distracting them with drinks, sex, and entertainment.

How was the recording and writing process?

The process was really cool, I’ve been a fan of Neon for years, so I was honored to work with her. The song actually morphed and transformed as we wrote The hook came first, and we were writing to this really small little house beat at the time, and loop of a Piano chord. The next session, we then went into the versus. On the production end, I made about 20 different versions of the track, from electro swing, to heavier electro house, but then when I really sat down and listened to the lyric and voice of Neon, I realized a deep house track was the way to go with it.

What was it like to work with Neon Hitch and how did that relationship develop?

She is so fun, we both said we are like Gemini It was actually kind of funny, cause within the first and second writing session, we like, immediately started to kind of bicker and be like “no what are you talking about?!” or… I don’t know how to explain it, it was like we had been family in another life or something. Love that girl, she is 100% awesome.

How much did she get to influence the song?

We really wrote it together, and kind of let the visual story we were trying to paint come to It was kind of like every other word we were trying to make better and better.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

YES! I have a free download “The Night Circus” coming out before the end of December, and January 19th, my next single “Love Never Died” will be released. Theres some amazing remixes that will come out with it, Laidback Luke did a remix on it, and I was pretty honored, he is an absolute legend and I have so much respect for him.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

“Love Never Died”, Remixes by Laidback Luke, Mike Mago, Dave Aude, and Riot. Releasing January 19th! mark your calendar.

Can we expect other special collaborations?

Yes, but I don’t know with who I’ve been dying to do a song with Kerli or Alexandra Stan for years, so maybe someday 🙂

How has your previous experience playing and sharing the stage alongside the ones such as Afrojack and Carnage have personally influence you as a musician?

I have to say, it influenced me greatly. When I saw Afrojack perform, I really saw the power he carried with his music, especially the power of making “timeless” hits. “Take Over Control”, STILL resinated with the crowd so intensely, the same way it did when I saw him play years ago when it was brand new. Carnage really opened my perspective on having a DJ Set that bended in and out of genres, and I mean, from 128bpm electro house to 150bpm hardstyle, with only 1 track in-between to get it there, it was insane, he was all over the place, but it blended and it worked, and it changed my entire outlook, and now I try to make my sets as crazy and wild as his. shoutout to carnage!

Any plans to hit the road?

I have a show at the end of December with Neon Hitch at Avalon in Hollywood, and then I have a show with an amazing DJ named JVST SAY YES, who actually remixed my song “Stay Here Forever” at the start of the year in January.

What else is happening next in Nytrix’s world?

Other than everything above! I am working on an EP, will most likely be Melodic Dubstep, I am also working on a music video that I have conceptualized for 6 years! but i’m finally beginning to draw out the CGi it will need, and working with my Visual Effects animator… stay tuned for that…
