Sam Setton Releases New Single “Stranger”

Electronic-pop artist, Sam Setton, announces the release of his brand new single “Stranger”. The single is featured on Setton’s upcoming debut EP, slated for an early 2017 release. “Stranger” is the follow-up track his inaugural, “Berlin”, which was featured on three Spotify playlists including Fresh Finds, Indietronic and Discover Weekly. Written and composed by Setton, “Stranger” was produced by Sainte and Lane Banning between Nashville and Brooklyn. “Stranger” was written about Sam and his ex essentially becoming strangers after their breakup; he wrote the song to grab her attention and win back her heart. The New York born and raised artist, Sam Setton, has been creating music since a young age. A recent break-up pushed Sam to take his music a step further. Wanting to mold a sound that truly represented Sam and his aesthetic, he experimented until he found it. Sam draws influence from his surroundings and writes about personal experiences. He’s inspired by artists including HONNE, Majid Jordan and Frank Ocean to name a few. He combines raw, sensual vocals with warm electronic-infused production so beautifully that they keep you wanting more. Aside from being featured on Spotify playlists, the singer-songwriter can be found on national outlets including Dancing Astronaut, Indie Shuffle and Good Music All Day. The much anticipated single “Stranger” is now ready to be released! In celebration, Sam will be playing a single release show at Mercury Lounge on November 29th!
