IRATION to Release Acoustic Album ‘Double Up’ December 2; Pandora Premiere Running November 23-December 1

IRATION has officially announced the details for their new acoustic album, DOUBLE UP. The 10-track album–set for digital release December 2 via their own Three Prong Records–marks the reggae-influenced alternative rock band’s first all-acoustic album as they prepare to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first album in 2017. In anticipation of its release, IRATION has teamed up with Pandora for an exclusive album premiere, running from November 23 through December 1. Starting tomorrow, go to to listen to DOUBLE UP.

“We’re really pumped to announce the release of Double Up, our new acoustic release. We took songs from our whole catalog of music and stripped them back and gave them an alternate life,” shares the members of IRATION. “We thought about a wave doubling up and the fact that it’s another version of the same entity. That’s what Double Up is, another version of these songs.”

DOUBLE UP–reworked at 17th Street Recording Studios in Costa Mesa, CA–features a mix of the band’s hits from their previous releases, including “Reelin” off their most recent full-length Hotting Up (2015); “One Way Track” and “Back Around” from 2013’s Automatic; “Summer Nights” from their Fresh Grounds EP (2011); and “Time Bomb” and “Falling” off 2010’s Time Bomb. Both Hotting Up and Automatic peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums Chart with Time Bomb reaching #2 on the chart. See below for the full track listing for DOUBLE UP.

IRATION recently completed a handful of headlining shows throughout California–November 11 at The Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles, November 18 at the Fox Theater in Oakland and November 19 at the Del Mar Race Track in San Diego–to wrap another massive year for the Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara-based group. To kick off 2017, the quintet–Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth) and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals)–will embark on the “Lost & Found Winter Tour,” a four-week headlining West Coast outing from January 13 through February 10 featuring support from Protoje and Zach Deputy. Additionally, IRATION will return to the One Love Cali Reggae Festival on February 11 at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
