The formidable LP is coming to London in December + Track ‘Lost on You’ reached #1 in 17 countries

Topping the iTunes charts in 17 countries and accumulating over 100 million plays across the key streaming platforms, LPs current track Lost On You is an undeniable global hit. Now LP – who has also achieved substantial success as a songwriter for the likes of Rihanna, Christina Aguilera and Rita Ora – turns her attention to the UK with the confirmation of shows in London and Manchester.

Infectious and atmospheric, Lost On You finds LP alternating between an understated verse and a soaring chorus, belting out, “Let’s raise a glass or two / To all the things I’ve lost on you” in a poignant moment of selfreflection. Delivering a universal emotion with a raw and revealing vocal, Lost On You has resonated with a huge and still growing audience.

Lost On You first gained international traction earlier this year when it shot to #1 in Greece. It was the start of a 22-week run at the top which ignited further success across mainland Europe, a highlight of which was topping the charts in France.

Lost On You features on LPs current Death Valley EP. It opens with an ominous, rhythmic, rattling chain that sucks you deep into Muddy Waters, which was co-written with Josh Record. It rises up into a dark spiritual, twisted gospel of confusion and desolation embodying the anxious sense of dread that presages the end of a relationship. Other highlights include the title-track, which channels her love of The Replacements’ brand of reckless rock n roll; the uplifting Strange moves beyond heartbreak to reach a joyous, triumphant celebration of self-acceptance and love; and Other People is a sardonic kiss-off to an ex.

Its five-tracks combine to present an artist with a remarkable ability to craft songs which are both personal and intimate, all fuelled by her immediately arresting vocals.

Death Valley follows LPs 2014 album Forever For Now which attracted the praise of The Wall Street Journal who stated that she was knocking on stardoms door, while Elle dubbed her as rocks next big thing and Vogue noted her Dylan-goes-electric swagger.

LP is set to introduce herself to the UK with two shows next month at Londons Dingwalls (December 5th) and The Deaf Institute in Manchester (December 6th). Tickets are available from http://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/lp-tickets.

Her forthcoming new album will be released in 2017.
