Hi Jerome, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Very well! Musics, concerts, travels, meetings… I have the life that I dreamed when I was young.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Stay (before the picture fades)”?

I wrote “Stay” during my trip in LA. It talks about the last day, the one we dread. The last goodbye, the last kiss, the last breath, the last look. It is a tribute to all these strong moments that we leave but remains forever in our memories.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

Not one event in particular, but the life in general. Sometimes I would like to freeze the good times. That’s my biggest frustration.

How was the film experience?

It was a special experience, it’s not easy to be comfortable with a camera and play the actor. I always try to be myself, to be natural. No game, just the truth.

The single comes off your new album Capital Vision – what’s the story behind the title?

Capitol Vision, it’s image… it’s like the best or the crazy point of view that you can have on your own life. I wanted to have an authentic album wich talk about me, about my own vision.

How was the recording and writing process?

I recorded a large part of the album at home in my home studio during the days when there were no concerts. I wanted something new. physical, emotional and raw. I used a maximum of instruments, old synthesizers, vintage drums and guitars to have an authentic and personal sound.

What was it like to work with Jaycen Joshua and how did that relationship develop? How much did he get to influence the album?

I met Jaycen Joshua during a trip in LA. This was exactly the person I wanted to work with. He’s someone who understands and knows exactly how to bring your music at the top. I wanted a different and new sound. Jaycen Joshua has made the album powerful and extremely emotional, while respecting the colors of my music.

What was your vision for this album? Where did you find the inspiration for the songs and lyrics?

I had a very precise view of the album. It talks about my personal life, my own vision. All the great events of these last three years of my life. I wanted to be fair and authentic.

Any plans to hit the road? What else is happening next in Talisco’s world?

The album will be released on January 27th. I’m gonna take the road to promote and play my music all around the world. The color of «Capitol Vision» is new. It’s physical, emotional and raw. I’m really exciting, it’s a new challenge for me to present my work trought the countries.
