Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Doppelganger”?

Yes Sure! The track is off the album im currently working on. Its a fun pop/dance track.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

The longer I live, I see how we as humans in this society struggle to be who we are and we try to live up to everyones expectations on what we should be. The only important expectations to live up to is your own. We shouldn’t be afraid to be who we are, be brave stand tall and be who want to be and not like everybody else. Define your own idivdualality!

Any plans to release a video for the single?

I got a video ready for release soon. Can’t wait to show you all!!

How was the recording and writing process?

The writing and recording process was very instantaneous. I woke up one day and just started writing it took about a week and was recorderd withing a week. I felt like i really had something to say and couldnt hold it in no more.

How’s your new album coming along?

Its coming along great i am writing with my long time producer Laurence hobbs who is amazing and has always undrstood me as an artist.  This album is very personal for me, its like my diary. I want the album to be as honest as possible. I dont want it to be a fasad of myself, I want to connect with people. On the album I’m also doing a little more on production so now i can really express myself.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

I have no title as yet or a date but it will definitely be 2017. At the same time I dont wanna rush it!

What’s been like to work with Laurence Hobbs and how did that relationship develop?

I have worked alongside a few producers in my time but laurence is exceptional.  We met back some years ago when I was trying to find myself and sound as an artist. He gave me the room to experiment. I have never felt felt stiffled working with him, he  has always let me roam and run wild with my music. I have always felt comftable and confident to say what i feel on my songs. Laurence has always been honest with me when it comes to my creativity.  That’s team work! That kind of chemistry is hard to find when your a creative. Working with laurence i continue to grow and I believe thats important for any artist.

How much did he get to influence the album?

He has a big influnce, man! He understands how to make great great records and keepin the sounds currrent the music always sounds fresh! He also throws in some old influnences in there which he knows I love as part of my sound.

What personal tragedies did you get to explore on this record?

On this record I experienced loss… and I mean loss of people who are your freinds. Friends that cannot accept who you are and why you do or say the things you say. You are not offending anyone by being true and honest to yourself and the people around you. You’re be only be doing a diservice to yourelf if you be any other way.

Any plans to hit the road?

Yep! Next year 2017 im gonna be out there seeing you all.

What else is happening next in Siiren Sire’s world?

Well right now… Siiren is just concentrating on writing and making great music. I take every day at a time and see what unfolds! Life is full of surprises. The twists and turns is what keeps me busy.
