Beach Weather Release New EP Chit Chat

Beach Weather have proudly released six song EP Chit Chat; the long awaited follow up to their first EP. The band has been teasing the new music since their last release What A Drag dropped late last summer.

Chit Chat features six brand new songs, produced collectively by Alex and Sean Silverman. The band, composed of Nick Santino, Austin Scates, and Reeve Powers teased the new music by releasing the first single “Someone’s Disaster” – a catchy tune showcasing Santino’s powerful vocal capabilities. Visually, the song plays as a color-infused pineapple floats over a swirling background paint. The audio-visual combination sets the stage for Chit Chat‘s new age indie pop meets the psychedelic 60’s vibe.

Following the overwhelming positive response to the first single, the band launched their first official music video for the EP’s title track “Chit Chat”. The video plays off the pastel color scheme and cuts individually between all three band members performing the playful tune. The indie world took notice – the song was picked up by Indie Shuffle and covered by Alternative Press. “Chit Chat” has also received airplay from various radio stations and been added to in-store playlists at Topshop UK.

Now, the full EP is available for fans to stream or download (iTunes) worldwide (via LAB Records in the UK and 8123 in all other markets). Limited physical copies are available via the 8123 online store.

Beach Weather will head out on tour with Against The Current this fall. Tickets are on sale now for all shows.
