Equipment Announces Debut EP – Stream First Single Commuter

Toledo Ohio based project Equipment has announced their debut EP “Chump” due out November 25th via All Sounds and Counter Intuitive Records. Equipment
has released their first single “Commuter” for free download on Bandcamp. Commuter is a perfect introduction, in under three minutes Equipment cycles through jazzy arpeggios, fuzzed out powerchords, and heart-on-sleeve lyrics, all about the commuter college angst. Listen here

Equipment is the brain child of 19 year old wunderkind Nick Stoup, who combines the immediacy of the great 90’s power pop bands (Weezer, early Green Day) with the youthful DIY energy of bands like Modern Baseball or Carseat Headrest.

“On this EP, I really tried to capture and articulate the situations I was living in at the time of writing: getting stuck in relationships I shouldn’t have been in, losing friends to college, and making rash choices after drinking alone. But don’t worry I made it sound really fun!” – Nick Stoup
