The Mowgli’s: Premiere Brand New Video For “Bad Thing” From Acclaimed Director Dawn Garcia On Purevolume Today

The indie-rock group THE MOWGLI’S have premiered a new video for their first single “Bad Thing,” which YAHOO! described as “Irresistibly catchy…” (9/8/16) at PUREVOLUME (here). For the clip, the band teamed with acclaimed director, Dawn Garcia, who has won accolades for TV ON THE RADIO’s “Mercy,” TELEPATHE’s “Slow Learner” and Pitchfork named her video for DESTROYER’s “KAPUTT” one of the “Top Music Videos of The Year” for direction.

On their new album WHERE’D YOUR WEEKEND GO? the group joined forces with producer Mike Green (Paramore, All Time Low) and created an album the group describes as “… the truest representation of who we are, not just as individuals, but as a band. It is the most honest thing we’ve ever done.”

THE MOWGLI’SCOLIN DIEDEN (vocals & guitar), JOSH HOGAN (vocals & guitar),KATIE JAYNE EARL (vocals), DAVID APPELBAUM (keys), MATTHEW DI PANNI (bass) and ANDY WARREN (drums)–play pure indie-rock that resonates with audiences all over the world. Their debut album Waiting for the Dawn (Photo Finish Records) premiered at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and yielded the group their first hit song “San Francisco.” Their sophomore album Kids In Love included the feel-right summertime song “I’m Good,” originally written for an anti-bullying campaign. Following Kids In Love, they released two fan favorite songs: “Summertime”–one the group’s most streamed songs on Spotify–and “Room For All Of Us,” a song released in support of the refugee-relief organization, International Rescue Committee.
