Matthew Szlachetka Release “Heart of My Hometown” Video

The first single/title track “Heart Of My Hometown” off Matthew’s upcoming album was released in August of 2016 and has already generated substantial buzz from media platforms such as The Chive, The Alternate Root, along with getting added to regular rotation Pat Monahan’s (singer of TRAIN) SIRIUS XM The Pulse radio show Train Tracks’ along with WRSI 93.9 ‘The River’, CBC (Canadian Broadcast), and KMMT FM 101.6 Mammoth Lakes, CA.

It was produced, engineered and mixed by Grammy winning producer David Bianco (Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, Lucinda Williams, The Black Crowes).  The song was recorded at Dave’s Room ( in North Hollywood, CA. Watch here

The song was mastered by Brian Lucey (Magic Garden Mastering).  Brian has mastered the last 4-5 Black Keys albums along with all the side projects by Dan Auerbach.  He also mastered the latest albums by Lucinda Williams, Delta Spirit, Cage The Elephant, Grace Potter, Ringo Starr, Marilyn Manson and many more!

Matthew co-wrote the song with good friend and writing partner Jamie Kent, who just released the first single “All American Mutt”, which is the title track of his upcoming album. Jamie co-wrote 4 songs on Matthew’s album and there are 2 songs on his upcoming album that they co-wrote together.
