Pamela Hute, began her path in music at a young age. In her early years, she formed The Mashed Potatoes before creating her own solo project in 2006. Leading up to her forthcoming project, Hute released Turtle Tales From Overseas (2010) and Bandit (2013). The latter was mixed in Brooklyn, NY by John Agnello (The Kills, Sonic Youth, Cyndi Lauper). Agnello calls Hute, “the queen of the pop hook,” stating she “excels at synth-pop and jangle, guitar rock. The album [Bandit] will steal your heart.” Aside from creating music, Hute has an interest in the business side of the industry as well as the DIY scene. Combining her interest in music business and the DIY scene, Hute created her own record label, My Dear Recordings. She is also an avid vintage guitar collector and vinyl collector.

Hute draws influences from artists like Sleeper, Elastica and Breeders and incorporates a taste of each in her music. Her new EP is a fresh start. It is inspired by a trip Hute took to California and is her most personal work thus far. Hute does it all, she plays guitar, sings, writes, and produces.
