Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Forever Here”?
‘Forever Here’ is a song about having fun. I’d love for the listeners to enjoy the song as much as I do. I hope it brings some joy to their day.
Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?
Yes, past experiences at the beach during the summer and not wanting that time to end. Just enjoying the moment when the weather is warm, the sun is shining, and you’ve got your feet in the sand.
It was an exciting experience and one I’ll never forget. I’d never been to Nashville before so that was an experience in itself, and I loved it there. I am so fortunate to have had the help of some amazing music professionals like Rob Nix and Producer Josh Crosby. It was an enjoyable learning experience creating this single with them.
What role does Boston play in your music?
Boston has good music, good people, and I love our local radio stations and the music they play. I’ve gotten lots of inspiration from going to concerts and it pushes me to pursue my dream as a music artist.
Does the new single mean we can expect new material – how’s that coming along?
Yes, I will continue to follow my passion for singing and I’m learning the art of song writing. I’m working on creating some new songs and sharing more music in the future.
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
I don’t have a release date yet, but I’d like my next song to be about something people can relate to.
What else is happening next in RebeccaNewman‘s world?
Right now I’m working on building a fan base and getting my song out there to be heard. I’d like to work on recording more songs and sharing my music.
