Well I would it say it’s self explanatory because my ambition is to become a billionaire.
6. How was the recording and writing process?
For most of the songs, I created them in the studio with the producers and others. I recorded myself but perfected them at the studio with Gospel On the Beat who mixed and mastered the whole Ep. It was fun recording and it was a bit stressful Re-recording most of the songs i had recorded myself but i always enjoy recording sessions. I don’t write my music, its really tiring, i make them mentally and perfect them after a few takes or sometimes i just do random freestyles on the whole song then pick out bits from that to create a template then i perfect the words and the beats and make it a complete song.
7. How has your upbringing influenced your music?
Positively i would say, it made me tough, and it made the streets accept me. It also made me learn so much about life and my experiences are mostly what i share in my music.
8. What role does Nigeria plays in your sound?
At the level at which my sound is being recognized globally i would say being Nigerian with my sound has made me one of the most unique hip hop brands in the game today, its easy to see the western influence in my sound but its also easy to know i’m not western.
9. What ambitions did you get to explore with this album?
Every move is step towards the ultimate goal, 3 of the songs turned out to be a success and we just dropped the Remix for one of them titled “Money Is Relevant”, it’s the first of its kind. It’s the true definition of my self innovated “Afro Hip “ genre.
