Tired Lion have revealed a raucous new video for ‘Agoraphobia’ which puts a fresh take on 90’s nostalgia – a nod to Blur’s ‘Song 2’ and Nirvana’s ‘Smells like Teen Spirit.
The Australian band had a great year last year winning triple j’s prestigious Unearthed Award, playing the main stage at Splendour in The Grass, claiming the WAMI for Best Rock Song, and supporting the likes of The 1975, Kingswood and Luca Brasi – and then going on to sign to Dew Process and UMA.
Talking about their sound the band said the following – “We’re all about the raw honesty in the music we make. If you sit back and take in the energy of what we are playing and what it’s all about, it’s a direct view into the looking glass that is collectively our lives – be it happy, sad or confusing. We’re passionate about bringing to people a fresh take on what is a nostalgic sound, keeping the guitars loud and trying to evoke some kind of feeling for the listener with dynamics and melody.”
