Timberwolf is also excited to announce his signing to US Music Publisher Third Side Music (Courtney Barnett, Flying Lotus, BadBadNotGood, Kurt Vile, Wolf Parade).  ThirdSide notes, “Ever since we watched Timberwolf crack through our bleary jet-lagged eyes and ears at 2015’s BigSound we knew we had to be involved in bringing Chris’s amazing songs to the world. “Something That I Said” in particular has been one we’ve been anxiously sitting on our hands waiting to be able to share in all its heartbreaking glory. Go break up with someone right now for full effect.”

Timberwolf is the moniker for Christopher Panousakis, a young singer/songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia.  In addition to today’s “Something That I Said” he has released an EP entitled Flux and a handful of singles.   Rolling Stone Australia has said, “There’s a lot of talk about this young Adelaide-based artist, and with good reason – his lyrics are poignant, his music captivating, his motives pure”

2015 was a breakout year for Timberwolf; he independently released the Flux EP (which has since hit over 1 million Spotify plays), performed to sold out crowds & audiences across Australia and topped off the year winning Best Songwriter and Best Male Artist at the South Australian Music Awards.

Since then, Timberwolf has been hard at work writing for his forthcoming record, and “Something That I Said” is the first music he is sharing from the album.  After developing, writing and honing his sound for the last year, the single showcases a significant progression from his earlier indie-folk influences to his long standing love for classic musicianship and song writing, taking inspiration from artists like George Harrison, Jeff Buckley and Jeff Lynn.
