Jerry Williams unveils brand new video, EP & debut UK headline tour

20 year old UK pop artist Jerry Williams has revealed the video for her brand new single ‘Let’s Just Forget It’, taken from her EP of the same name, both out now.

The video, which premiered last week on Wonderland, was filmed in one-take on West Witterings beach near Portsmouth over the rain-lashed sand. The video features Jerry delivering a heart-felt performance of the epic single, and was co-written and produced with longtime collaborator Dan Brown.

The EP, which has today been nominated for Best Album / EP at the 2016 Unsigned Music Awards, features five tracks including the title track, Jerry’s previous single ‘Mother’ (now approaching 2 million streams on Spotify) plus two further original compositions, and a beautifully unique cover of The Cure’s ‘Boys Don’t Cry’.

Jerry’s narrative storytelling has caught the attention of some big songwriters and she has collaborated with Dan Carey (Rae Morris, Miles Kane), Jim Duguid (Paulo Nutini, Alex Clare) and has been compared to the likes of Lily Allen and Kate Nash. She has also been signed by Select Models Management.

Already packing out venues across her home town of Portsmouth, and receiving national radio support with BBC Introducing, Jerry has been impressing music fans across Europe following her tour supporting Vanessa Carlton, which saw her play a sold-out show at the Lexington. She’s also recently performed at BST Hyde Park with Take That, and support slots for LANY, Barnes Courtney, MAGIC & Nathan Sykes.

This leads Jerry to embark on her first ever headline tour, which kicked off with a sold-out hometown show in Portsmouth last night. She plays another sold-out show tonight, in the capital, at the Servant Jazz Quarters, along with further dates in Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham. She’s also recorded a VEVO DSCVR session, which will go live towards the end of the year.
