RAW FABRICS Premiere New Track “Slip Away”

LA-based alternative artist Raw Fabrics premiered his latest track “Slip Away,” on Ones to Watch yesterday, PRESS HERE to listen. Raw Fabrics continues to showcase his raw honesty and unapologetic lyrics that are anthemic in nature with a head-banging production. The track is currently available on iTunes and Spotify, PRESS HERE to listen.

The song is influenced by Jack’s personal experiences, who said, “I’ve had many experiences when I’ve gotten really close to getting something I really wanted, but then last minute it doesn’t work out, & it’s like ‘fuck what do I do now?’ ‘Slip Away’ is about how to get over that frustration and enjoy things as they are to keep moving forward.”

Fans got a re-introduction to Jack Bruno and Raw Fabrics with the release of the track “Get Me The Hell Out of Here,” which struts with an outspoken confidence punctuated by sharp percussion and piercing guitar chords climaxing with an anthemic chorus, PRESS HERE to purchase on iTunes. With more music in the works, Raw Fabrics will be supporting She Wants Revenge on select tour dates this fall.

Following the release of their second EP, Plastic Joy, the punked-up alternative mavericks were riding high.  However, the frontman’s dark side completely consumed him.  As Jack plunged into drug and alcohol addiction, his band mates left one by one.  Holed up in a Los Angeles motel room watching interviews about musicians battling with addiction, he realized things needed to change and NOW.  After completing treatment, Jack headed out on the road with just a live drummer in tow and the resulting shows were unpredictable and unforgettable.  That energy carried through to the studio.  Handling production, guitar, bass, vocals, and drum programming himself, he feverishly recorded as he puts it, “more songs in a few months than I had written in my entire career.”

“It would’ve been so easy to just quit,” Jack leaves off. “Music is too important to me. The message behind Raw Fabrics is too important for me to just give up. That message is looking at the core of things and trying to express honest emotions; it’s all about connection, that’s what saved my life. This is me. It’s more vulnerable and honest. It feels like for the first time it’s completely real. It feels like a new Raw Fabrics.”
