Matt Gresham Returns With New Single

After recently relocating to Berlin and signing with Warner Germany for Europe, Australia’s Matt Gresham is delving into a new chapter of creativity with new single, ‘Survive on Love’ available now! LISTEN HERE.

Co-written with LA based producer Jaymes Young, (London Grammar). ‘Survive on Love’ showcases a newfound vibrancy and explosiveness to Gresham’s sound. With a driving bassline, forward drum mix and uplifting vocal, ‘Survive on Love’ delivers an anthemic and universal message: that our material wants often cloud the vision of our core needs…

“I grew up in a spiritually conscious environment,” says Matt on the new single. “And instead of looking outward to find solutions and healing, I was taught to first look within.”

‘Survive on Love’ is the follow up to ‘Small Voices’, released earlier this summer and debuting at Number 15 in Spotify’s AU Viral Chart, with Rolling Stone praising Matt’s vocal as a “balance of regret and determination” and concluding the song is “equal parts anthemic and reflective.”

Gresham’s first break came on Australia’s X Factor, when in 2013 he quit the show citing the talent shows artistic restrictions. Since leaving to pursue the independent route, he has built himself a loyal following, winning over fans and critics alike becoming one of the country’s hottest new talents. His song ‘Whiskey’ released in 2014 won Western Australian Music Awards coveted ‘Song of the Year’.  In May he played an impressive string of showcases at SXSW and he’s recently completed a sell-out Australian tour, which comes off the back of a string of acclaimed singles.

Now all eyes are on the UK and Europe, with Matt now living in Berlin.

Stay tuned for details of UK live shows later this year.
