AGAINST THE CURRENT ANNOUNCE “IN OUR BONES WORLD TOUR”

Fueled By Ramen recording group Against The Current has announced plans for a Fall headline tour. The first North American leg of the “In Our Bones World Tour” gets underway Tuesday, November 15th at the Foundry at the Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA and then travels into mid-December (see attached itinerary). Tickets for all announced dates will go on sale beginning Friday, September 16th. For complete details, please visit inourbonestour.com.

The “In Our Bones World Tour” officially kicked off last week as Against The Current arrived in Asia for hugely anticipated shows in South Korea, Singapore, The Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The band will then hit Europe for headline dates in The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France.

The “In Our Bones World Tour” is sponsored by Live Nations’ Ones To Watch and Alcatel. Ones To Watch is Live Nation’s emerging music blog, and serves as a destination for music fans to not only discover their favorite new artists, but gain exclusive access to their music career as it unfolds, for more information: www.onestowatch.com. Alcatel Mobile Devices is currently the #4 mobile handset manufacturer in North America, Alcatel branded devices from TCL Communication deliver innovative, feature-rich experiences that make access to today’s mobile technology simple; offering a diverse portfolio of value-packed products equipped with the technology people want most.

Against The Current – who only just wrapped a full summer on this year’s Vans Warped Tour ’16 – has already had a remarkable year, highlighted by the release of their full length debut album. “IN OUR BONES” immediately entered Billboard’s “Top New Artists” chart at #2 upon release, also reaching #2 on the iTunes Store’s “Top Alternative Albums” and the top 20 of the overall “Top Albums” tally.

“IN OUR BONES” has drawn widespread applause, with Alternative Press declaring it “pop-rock perfection.” “Superstardom awaits,” raved KERRANG!, “and anyone who has a problem with that is hereby advised to get the hell out of Chrissy’s way.” The album showcases such vibrant tracks as “Running With The Wild Things,” “Wasteland,” and the electrifying “Young and Relentless,” all of which are accompanied by equally exciting companion videos, streaming now at the official Against The Current YouTube channel.

Earlier this year, Against The Current joined All Time Low and Good Charlotte on UK tour dates before embarking on their own “Running With The Wild Things” European headline tour. This headline trek followed Against The Current’s massive “Gravity World Tour” that kicked off in Thailand and saw sold out headline dates in Tokyo, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, & many other cities before wrapping up with a full North American tour. The band — presently featured on the cover of the September issue of Rock Sound – have earned accolades and a faithful fan following worldwide with their brand of alternative/pop.

Against The Current is lead singer Chrissy Costanza, Dan Gow & Will Ferri. The three have built an immense following on social media with over 1.5 million YouTube subscribers & 201 million views. Chrissy herself has over 1.5 million Facebook likes, 953k followers on Instagram & 448k Twitter followers. Prior to signing with Fueled By Ramen the band independently released their EP Gravity that hit #4 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart at its release.
