Cinematographer James Hawkinson has won the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series.
Hawkinson received his Emmy for the first season of Amazon Studios’ The Man in the High Castle.
“To receive this recognition for the show is a great honor,” Hawkinson says. “I’m delighted to get a nod from the Television Academy, particularly after all the hard work that went into High Castle.”
“It’s a fantastic achievement for the whole crew,” he says.
“This is a well-deserved win for Jim,” says Hawkinson’s agent Dan Burnside, VP of DDA. “He is a master of his craft in the truest sense of the word.”
Hawkinson is currently shooting the second series of the show, scheduled for release on Amazon Prime Dec. 16.
