Elektra recording group Finish Ticket will celebrate their upcoming fall headline tour with their national TV debut. The Bay Area-based band will perform “Wrong” on tomorrow’s installment of TBS’ Conan, set for Tuesday, September 13th at 11/10c (check local listings).
The “Finish Ticket Fall Tour” (#FTFT) officially gets underway September 28th at St. Louis, MO’s Firebird and then travels through November (see attached itinerary). Support comes from Run River North and IRONTOM. Prior to the tour kickoff, Finish Ticket will also be making a number of fall festival appearances, among them Del Mar, CA’s KAABOO Del Mar (September 16th), and Las Vegas, NV’s Life Is Beautiful (September 24th). Finish Ticket made their label debut with last year’s EP, “WHEN NIGHT BECOMES DAY.” Recorded and produced in the San Francisco Bay Area and mixed by multiple GRAMMY® Award nominee Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons), the EP includes the single, “Color.” In addition, the track’s ultra vivid companion video is streaming now at the official Finish Ticket YouTube channel.
Finish Ticket has spent much of the past year on the road, a remarkable run marked by headline dates, college performances, a co-headline spot on Live Nation’s “Ones To Watch” music discovery tour, and well received stints supporting label mates Fitz and the Tantrums and Fueled By Ramen recording group twenty one pilots’ blockbuster “BLURRYFACE TOUR.” Other live highlights include jam-packed festival sets at gatherings like Firefly Music Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Rock on The River, Life Is Beautiful, and Live 105’s BFD.
