ANDREW BIRD PREMIERES LYRIC VIDEO FOR “ROMA FADE”

Andrew Bird is premiering a new lyric video for the track “Roma Fade” from his critically acclaimed new record Are You Serious (out now on Loma Vista Records). Watch/share the video HERE. Bird recently deconstructed “Roma Fade” for Song Exploder, listen to him discuss the track HERE.

Bird is set to perform alongside Jimbo Mathus (Squirrel Nut Zippers) on Tuesday, August 30 at 12:30 p.m. PT for “Live from the Great Room,” a new, ongoing series of Facebook Live performances. Streamed live from Bird’s living room, the weekly series puts the creative process on display for fans as Bird performs and converses with friends and collaborators in a candid, intimate setting. Previous guests include Matt Berninger of The National, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Chris Thile, Blake Mills, John C. Reilly and Tom Brosseau.

Says Bird of the new series: “I bring in musicians that I think will push me into interesting territory. I’ve always been about showing the process and the never ending quest to get to the heart of a song.”

Bird will also continue his critically acclaimed world tour throughout the fall, including his largest-ever Chicago homecoming performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park, along with stops at Austin City Limits and Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival. The tour will conclude with a performance at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on December 12. See below for a complete list of dates.
