ROOD Release New Single “Obsessed”

Yorkshire based five-piece ROOD are an Alternative Rock band formed in 2015. The band consists of Tom Hale (vocals, guitar), Joe Castle (guitar, vocals), Liam Butterfield (bass, vocals) Elliot Mann (drums) and Jack Miszewski (keys, percussion). They complete their original sound with swirling layers of overdriven guitars and keys over hefty bass and solid drums.

‘Obsessed’ is their debut single that was recorded at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool and produced by Chris Taylor. It will be released 29th August on digital and vinyl. Watch here.

Heading out on a UK tour in mid-September to support the release, they will play:

The Polish Club, Barnsley – Saturday 3rd September

Sebright Arms, London – Monday 12th September

The Leopard, Doncaster – Thursday 15th September

TS One, Middlesborough – Thursday 22nd September

Macguire’s Pizza Bar, Liverpool – Friday 23rd September

ROOD have previously had air play on Steve Lamacq’s Radio 6 show as well as BBC Introducing in Sheffield with Christian Carlisle.
