Kiah Victoria returns with news of her debut EP “Everybody“ & a stunning new cut from its release, “Hollow.” The EP will be released September 23rd. This news also comes with an announcement of a headline show at Pianos in her hometown of New York.
Hollow’s charms stem from its piano chords that spiral, reaching for the sky along with its body-moving drum line. All of this only plays ensemble for Victoria’s show stopping vocals & lyrical messages which are on call to deliver unadulterated inspiration.
“This song was wrote two days after the Paris attack” explains Kiah Victoria, continuing “Everything still felt super surreal and hopeless and I wanted to capture that. I also wanted to make something joy giving. The amazing thing is that we don’t have to be as terrible as we’re capable of being.”
Also hear Kiah Victoria’s previous cut “Cold War” & “I Ain’t Goin Nowhere.” The former was described by i-D as “the sound of the future” where the former was described by Noisey as “The beat breaks and smash like Kelis and Andre 3000’s “Millionaire.” and in fact Kiah’s vocals are just as rich and appealing as her fellow curly haired singer.”
