Sons of Texas Premiere “September” Video

After 15 months of non-stop touring, Sons of Texas are hitting the road again for 3 months in support of their successful debut album Baptized in The Rio Grande. The final leg of the tour will cover the U.S., Japan, Europe, and the UK. Leading up to the shows, the band has partnered with Revolver for the video premiere of “September;” click HERE to watch. This follows videos for the album’s title track and the song “Blameshift.”

Singer Mark Morales comments, “With ‘September’, I wanted to try and write from a different perspective, so I chose to write about a single mother. As a lyricist, I wanted to broaden the playing field as far as subject matter goes.  I wanted to pay homage to the hardest working people of our generation, the unsung heroes of the world, the epitome of love, ambition, and tenacity – the single parent.”

The fall tour kicks off September 12th with two weeks of U.S shows supporting Buckcherry and Candlebox.  Following the U.S dates, the band is set to perform at Japan’s legendary Loudpark Festival.  The tour cycle then closes out with a month of dates in Europe and the UK supporting Soil and Saliva.
