Australian psych outfit POND will return to the US, Mexico and South America this fall. The last time the band toured the US was January 2015 on the heels of their release hallucinatory masterpiece- Man, It Feels Like Space Again of which Rolling Stone said, “classic rock touchstones are intrinsic to Pond, but they shove them into futuristic territory – gifted musicians unafraid to indulge their flights of fancy.” Highlights of the tour include Desert Daze in Joshua Tree, Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on October 17th and Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on October 26th. Tickets are on-sale today.
A new album from POND is expected in early 2017. For their latest effort they returned to the studio of their frequent collaborator and sometimes Tame Impala band mate Kevin Parker. More details on the album will be announced soon and in the mean time check out a snippit of new music here!
