San Diego-based indie pop outfit MODERN ME have released their debut single “Waters” – the first track revealed from their new EP Touch, due out this fall. All Things Go refers to the track as “explosive,” which has been compared to artists like The 1975, BØRNS, and Walk the Moon. ►Listen to “Waters” on Soundcloud
Modern Me was formed in early 2016 and consists of lead vocalist Adam Lamah, drummer, Phoenyx Jones, bassist Adam O’Nan, guitarist Michael Paez, guitarist Shawn Kreitz and vocalist and key player Alyssa Everhart. After churning out a handful of songs they were extremely excited about, the band quickly teamed up with producer Adam Castilla – best known for fronting indie rock band The Colourist – who helped bring their writing concepts to life.
“‘Waters’ feels like riding off into the sunset with Simone Biles knowing, wherever you go with her, those gold melodic medals will light the way,” says producer and friend Adam Castilla on the new single.
Modern Me will continue to release new music through the end of summer and into the fall, leading up to their EP Touch. For more information on the band, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
