“”Sparta (This Isn’t Over)” is the song on the EP that really shows the best combination of where we’re headed as a band as well as where we’ve been. The fine details of this track are a strong example of the technical aspects behind our Best Intentions EP that really shine through in this single. This song represents both the softer side that we never really shy away from, and the edgier feel we’ve been embracing more recently. We weren’t afraid to experiment with different sounds, effects and instruments that really helped bring this song to the next level.” – Jake Salazar (lead vocals, Approaching Troy)

With a tour rapidly approaching and a hometown performance scheduled for August 19, the band is determined to spread their music as far as they can – and with songs like “Sparta” and “Wake Up,” it won’t be a challenge.
