JILL SCOTT MAKES DEBUT PERFORMANCE AT HISTORIC APOLLO THEATRE

Last night on August 9th, 3X GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter, Jill Scott, made her first ever Apollo Theater performance debut. The iconic soul singer performed tracks off of her number one selling, fifth studio album, Woman, which included the hit single “Fools Gold” – as well as chart-topping hits such as “Golden” and “Cross My Mind”.

Jill Scott is currently spearheading her 2016 Summer Tour. The 25 city tour kicked off Friday, July 22nd in Saratoga, California and has made stops through Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, Atlanta – with forthcoming dates in both New Jersey and Brooklyn’s Coney Island Amphitheater. Jill has been  performing new music from her latest album, WOMAN, along with her classic hits.

Jill has described the sound of her recent album as “classic Philly soul meets country rhythm served with captivated storytelling.”
