In anticipation of their new album Are You Real? out September 16th via Bright Antenna Records, LA-based Beware of Darkness share an acoustic video for lead single “Dope” here. Recorded in the fall of 2015, Are You Real? serves as urgent call to arms not only for frontman Kyle Nicolaides, but for the band’s sound as well. With hints of The White Stripes and blues-inspired rock, the trio’s forthcoming 12-track LP introduces a new fearlessness that is as refreshing as it is addictive, and goes much deeper than riffs.
