St. Lucia announced today additional dates to their upcoming fall headline tour including Chicago, Oakland and their first ever headlining shows in Dallas and Houston. Today, the band also premiered the Bahner Cheerleader remix of their song “Winds Of Change” – listen here:

Sofi Tucker, Baio and KiND have been added to the bill as support for the tour, in which St. Lucia will debut new songs and production in their largest venues to date. Tickets for the new dates are available for pre-sale tomorrow at 10am ET with password HELPME; all tickets will be on-sale Friday at 12pm ET. St. Lucia just wrapped prominent sets at a slew of festivals this summer including Bonnaroo, Firefly, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. They are also slated to play at Bumbershoot (Sep. 2-4), Made In America (Sep. 3-4) and Austin City Limits (Sep. 30 – Oct. 2).

Released in late January, Matter (the follow-up to St. Lucia’s 2013 album When The Night) has been universally praised, with Rolling Stone drawing comparisons to ‘Prince at his purplest,’ Entertainment Weekly hailing it as ‘the indie dance party album of the year,’ and NYLON citing the 2016 release as ‘a bold new direction for the band.’ St. Lucia’s fusion of catchy synths, hook-laden verses and unabashed power pop caught the attention of KCRW’s Jason Bentley who recently said on an episode of Morning Becomes Eclectic, “this should be the biggest band in the world right now.”
