Kicking off another exciting premiere week, we are starting out with a massive song by Canadian’s very own Pigeon Park and their heavily catchy track “Sunlight Fading Away”.
The band teamed up with longtime collaborator, producer Jordan Oorebeek, to create “Sunlight Fading Away”. This single details the difficulties of expressing yourself creatively and/or personally. Pacholok drew from personal experience while writing this song, as it became part of a process of rediscovering his desire to write music.
Since forming in 2008, the band – Nick Weber (vocals), Logan Pacholok (guitar/vocals), Kevin Okabe (guitar), Artur Lepert (bass) and new drummer, Spencer Burr – have solidified themselves as one of Canada’s most dynamic, emerging modern rock acts. The new single signifies a new era for the band as it represents a renewal of the band’s dedication to their craft and the path they’ve chosen going forward. The hard-rocking quintet have extensively toured Canada and have opened for Aerosmith and Slash, The Tea Party, Sam Roberts, Big Wreck, and Scott Weiland.
